Most days you can most likely find me in shorts and more often than not denim cut offs. Shorts are definitely a staple in my closet, I am constantly dressing shorts up or down mixing them day or night with heels or flats. The necklace below, is casual and light and is so easy to wear. It is made out of Tibetan wood beads with a vintage turquoise carved pendant with sterling silver details. The time I have spent in California over the last few years was definitely an inspiration for this necklace. In my opinion this necklace relates to the cool, laid-back lifestyle.
I love how the necklace looks with a tee-shirt and shorts, which is why I choose the outfit below. It’s comfortable and chic without trying too hard. I choose the striped tee because stripes are always such a classic look. The J.Crew ballet slippers bring out the turquoise in the pendant and add a fun pop of color to an otherwise neutral outfit. I really like the lace detail added to the Barra Renda denim shorts, it adds a touch of femininity. I also picked the lip balm because on a day-to-day basis I normally don’t wear much makeup if any, but I have been loving this EOS brand.
