Hi Everyone!
Today’s post is an example of how to take an expensive look and find them for much less! I will admit, I love to splurge once in a while, but I am not wearing designer clothes everyday, all day. You have heard me say it before, I love mixing expensive and inexpensive pieces. I think it’s great to have certain designer or expensive staples in your closet. However, we all also know that trends come and go with each season and that must-have piece will soon be kicked to the curb for a new trend. That is when I look to websites like Forever21, Asos, H&M, and many more to get trendy looks for less. The look below is a beautiful Aztec pattern dress by Peter Pilotto. It is colorful and bright but unfortunately totally breaks the bank at $1,545. It is also the type of dress that can not be worn very often because it is definitely recognizable and memorable. The Belle Sauvage Dress is much more reasonable at $110, it may not be as bright but it is still colorful and structured like the Pilotto beauty. Knuckle clutches have appeared on several fashion runways lately and it is a fun twist on the classic evening bag. The Alexander McQueen knuckle clutch is definitely drool-worthy but the $2,070 price tag has me stopping dead in my tracks. The black spike knuckle clutch from Boohoo.com is only $60 and the fun spikes add a little extra. Brian Atwood shoes are always to die for, and these pumps are the perfect shoe to finish off this look, however, they will cost you $669. The Pour La Victoire black pumps are the same style for almost $500 less, at $180. I hope you all enjoyed this post! Leave a comment if you would like to see more of these in the future!
