If you didn’t see what I wore to my engagement party < check it out here >
I have my mom to thank for being the amazing party/wedding planner she is and making my vision for our engagement party a reality. It all started when I wanted to have palm print invitations that I custom designed on Zazzle. The invitations and my current obsession with everything palm print created a theme we decided to go with for the party.
Super wedding planner mom ordered palm print fabric to get napkins made for the dinner tables. We then decided to go with Cuban food and the menu consisted of the classics: Ropa Veija, Rice & Beans, Yucca, Avocado Salad, & Sweet Plantains (which some guests thought they were chicken wings!)
The tables were decorated with custom arrangements made by my mom & a very dear friend. They were gorgeous white orchids, floating hydrangeas, yellow orchids & palm leaves. I was in love with their creativity and how spot on they were with what I imagined.
The favors were small boxes < first & second pictures > filled with my fiance & I’s favorite candies; Cinnamon Bears (mine) & Sour Patch Watermelon (his).
The party would not have been complete without two ice luges < pictured above > one heart with our wedding hashtag & one diamond with the date of the big day!
Besides my mom, this party would have never been what it was without the amazing Regency Party Rental in West Palm Beach. The party numbers were growing up until the day of the event & Regency made it possible. They covered the pool, attached 3 tents to make 1 big one to accommodate the large amount of people (250), & provided tables, chairs, linens etc. I definitely recommend them if you are throwing a party in the area anytime soon.
Now that the engagement party is over, it’s time to focus on what’s to come…The Wedding!
