We are having an amazing time on our honeymoon! It is only day 2 and I don’t want it to end (luckily still have some time)…
We flew from Miami > JFK > Rome. We both thought that jet lag wasn’t going to be a problem for us but we were exhausted yesterday. We got in around noon and was so happy that not only was our room ready, we got a complimentary upgrade at the Portrait Roma. The chic hotel is owned by the Ferragamo family and I am in love with it. Since the moment we walked in we have felt welcome & relaxed. The reception/hospitality has been spectacular, helping us with reservations and directions. Another amazing feature…an iPad Mini in your room that you can take with you to explore so you can have a working GPS without racking up roaming charges on your cell phone.
I wore this outfit to dinner last night to Life, where we sat in a corner booth, sipped delicious red wine & shared a bowl of pasta & tiramisu. We spent the day today exploring and walking everywhere…more on that later.
