Hi friends! 

I know, I know….It’s been awhile since my last post. The holidays were so busy and I just wasn’t blog organized this year, I apologize. Things have died down this past week and I was trying to post a few things, but I wasn’t feeling them. So rather than half-ass them I figured better to not post. I was eagerly waiting to shoot with a new photographer < Alana Harris > and figured a little digital break might be good for my creativity when it came to the blog. I had so much fun shooting with Alana on Thursday and the pictures she takes are amazing. She captures the light and details so beautifully, don’t you think?? I am so excited to bring you new content now in 2017!

About this criss cross red dress…

My godmother gave me a Dodo Bar Or romper this summer < see here >and ever since I have loved the brand. The quality of the clothes is great, the material is comfortable, & the styles are chic…what more could a girl ask for?! I am especially obsessed with the criss cross back, & bottom details. It is definitely a statement dress that will get you lots of compliments. It is perfect for a casual springtime wedding or get together.

My shoes…

I paired this cute midi dress with a pair of Schutz sandals. These have been my go-to sandals lately. The small heel makes them so easy to wear with just about anything, from this dress, to jeans, to shorts! The cork is also a fun alternative to your typical tan or camel sandal but still goes with so much.
