Let’s just say I can’t get Taylor Swift’s “Shake it off” out of my head today.
I am sad to say that my Instagram account got deleted for the second time last night. I have worked so hard to build back my Instagram presence since the last time this happened in July 2014. When it happened then, I thought it was a freak thing and it could happen to anyone. However, when I saw I had gotten deleted for the second time this morning I no longer think it’s an accident. After some research, I found out that if someone is reporting an account as “inappropriate” content over and over again, that account will eventually be deleted. Instagram does this without even looking at the account to see if the accusations are even legitimate or not. It saddens me that it is possible I have people following that maliciously keep reporting me out of jealousy. Instagram is a way I get my jewelry line & blog noticed and it’s awful that people don’t realize they aren’t just messing with me, they are messing with my business. I have been trying to contact anyone that might know someone at Instagram to see if they can help get my account or accounts back before I make a new one.
